Adidas Superstar Ravi Restaurant Size 44 Cream/Green Leather Low Top Sneakers

Description

Few Adidas collaborations feel as rooted in a place as the Superstar Ravi Restaurant. The cream leather upper, green three stripes, and matching accents take their colours from the uniforms of Ravi Restaurant, the much loved Satwa institution that has been serving Dubai since 1978. Ravi’s name appears in English and Arabic on the heel tabs, alongside the restaurant’s founding year, while the custom insoles turn into a little piece of the neighbourhood, illustrated with a hand drawn map and six signature dishes. The classic shell toe and low top silhouette keep the sneakers unmistakably Superstar, but the Ravi details give this pair a personality that goes well beyond the usual colourway. For collectors, it is the combination of an iconic Adidas sneaker and such a specific piece of Dubai culture that makes this release particularly memorable.
