How Savelio works
Last updated: 27 October 2026
What Savelio is
Savelio compares prices of the same product in different stores, in 16 European countries. Each country has its own site with its own stores and currency.
Where the prices come from
The data is updated automatically every day. The same product is recognised in different stores by its barcode (GTIN/EAN).
- Open Prices by Open Food Facts: a free, community-run database of prices that people record from price tags and receipts in stores. Next to each such price we show when and in which city it was recorded.
- Data from stores and partner networks, as soon as they are connected.
How offers are sorted
- On a product page, offers are sorted by price, the cheapest first.
- In the catalogue, products with the most compared offers come first by default; you can sort by price or by newest instead.
- Nobody can pay for a better position. Stores that pay us a commission are not ranked higher.
How Savelio earns money
Some links to stores are partner (affiliate) links. If you follow such a link or buy something, we may receive a commission from the store or an affiliate network. The price for you stays the same, and the commission does not influence the order of offers.
What Savelio does not cover
Savelio does not show every store or every offer on the market. Prices may have changed since they were recorded; the price at the store applies.
